Jarno Kettunen, born in Finland in 1980, is an award–winning fashion illustrator and visual artist renowned for capturing the mood and energy of high fashion, performances, and personalities through minimal, yet energetic drawings and paintings.

A sought–after collaborator, Jarno creates his signature live illustrations at Paris Fashion Week for designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior Homme, AF Vandevorst, and Manish Arora, and debuted at New York Fashion Week with a backstage portrait of Diane von Furstenberg for her spring–summer 2015 show. His Traveling Atelier brings live art experiences to global venues, from portraying VIP clients at Jeffrey Atlanta to capturing dancers for the Royal Ballet of Flanders in Belgium and drag artists in Alain Platel’s Gardenia at Theater Rotterdam. His commissioned work includes graphic design and illustrations for The Coca-Cola Company, editorial pieces for NYLON Guys, and live portraits for Chanel’s Fall 2010 and Spring 2017 make-up collections.

Based in New Haven, USA, Jarno’s work spans fashion illustration, graphic design, painting, and education, with experience at top institutions like University of Cincinnati (DAAP) and RISD. His clients include Saks Fifth Avenue, Jimmy Choo, Levi Strauss, s.Oliver, Essentiel Antwerp, and V&A Museum with features in Vogue, L’Officiel, Elle, and A Shaded View on Fashion by Diane Pernet. His art has been exhibited at Joyce Gallery in Paris, Fashion Space Gallery in London, ModeMuseum in Antwerp, and Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles.
