I recently had the great honor to capture Diane von Furstenberg's portrait and the backstage mood live at her spring/summer 2015 fashion show!
These live drawings are part of my on-going project to capture and document today's iconic fashion designers, shows and personalities with a goal of making a book and a traveling exhibition with a selection of the resulting illustrations.

Portrait illustration of vintage specialist Brian Procell for DASH Magazine A/W14 issue.
New Work: Nev Schulman for NYLON Guys
I really enjoyed watching Nev Schulman's Catfish, a controversial film about online dating and thus I was pleasantly surprised getting commissioned by Nylon Guys to create his portrait illustration for a style editorial. In the article Mr. Schulman among other things gives his tips on dressing for dating success!
New Work: Cole Alexander of Black Lips for NYLON Guys
I was excited when NYLON Guys commissioned a portrait of Cole Alexander of Black Lips - a punk band based in my hometown Atlanta. Their raw style and wild stage antics mixed with catchy pop sound are recognized all over the planet and it was great to discover their music and attitude through this project. This one's definitely added to the studio play list!

New Work: Jim Jarmusch Portrait Illustration for Nylon Guys April 2014 Issue
Just got an amazing opportunity to create a portrait illustration of one of my all time favorite film directors Jim Jarmusch who made movies such as Down by Law, Night on Earth, Dead Man and Ghost Dog. Characterized as a minimalist filmmaker his movies are often unhurried with long still shots and focusing more on character development and mood instead of clear plot progression - just like I do with my illustrations! The portrait was scheduled to appear in Nylon Guys April 2014 issue.
