Painting performance video for ‘Not Just For Show', a Telethon and Variety Show put on by Cincinnati’s Wave Pool contemporary art fulfillment center this last September 25 & 26. This video showcases my process and inspirations for my current large scale painting project, reacting to flower photographs of Robert Mapplethorpe. S.OLIVER X JARNO Collaboration
Hello again!
I would like to present to you my new creative collaboration with the German fashion company s.Oliver, titled S.OLIVER X JARNO
This unique assignment started when I was invited to draw the runway models live in front of an audience at s.Oliver's Fashion Show Event in September 2018 held at their central offices in Rottendorf. The dynamic live fashion illustration experience that ensued resulted in multiple energetic and colorful mixed media artworks on paper, which were displayed to bring a creative and inspirational dynamic during the event. A number of these original illustrations were selected for s.Oliver, from which three of them were turned this summer into t-shirts for the special S.OLIVER X JARNO collection!
